Question by FADSTER: can swimming in ocean cause reoccuring sinusitis?
is it possible that swimming in the ocean a few years ago be the cause of feoccuring sinus infections? After several days of snorkling and other such oceanic activities i got very sick and had a bad sinus infection, i get 3 a year at least now.

Answer by dr zebi (Proud to be Pakistani) 3 years is a long time it may not be the cause of reoccurring sinusitis,,
but yes regular swimming is a common cause
