The doctor’s given me low doses cortisone, which did not really help.

Ever tried ear candling (find them at the health food store)? Sinus lavage (warm salt water through sinuses) and sinus massage (warm compress over face followed by rubbing over sinus passages)? Drinking extra water and something like Mucinex to thin secretions (which helps prevent mucus from getting stuck and creating a ripe infection atmosphere)?
I have terrible allergies and a tendancy towards sinus/throat/ear infections. These things have helped me tremendously, along with taking claritan d and mucinex every day.

The Mayo clinic has discovered that alot of sinusitis is caused by candida. The infection is in all the mucus and not in the sinus cavities. When they give you antibiotics for sinusitis its doing no good. Pull up info about candida, you will be surprised and they have some medicine for it. Candida is based on yeast in the body and it does get in your sinus. Try it out,,,good luck
